The human appendix can cause death by infection, or excruciating pain when ruptured. And you can get your appendix removed and carry on just fine. Or, some people were never born with one and managed. So, the appendix is traditionally thought to have no function in the human body. Hence, The Appendix’s posts revolve around humorous behavioral observations of the curious, the ironic, or simply the wastes of energy, time, effort and money we partake in as humans with no apparent purpose, etc.
And sometimes I just vent about lameness.
How does one cope with the seemingly endless banality of consumptive days, and the vacant metaphysics of rhetoric evenings? I declare! Fermented rye, the faithful page, a trumpet and that creeping lethargy we so fervently battle.
